SPECIALIZED TALK: “FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY: CURRENT STATUS AND DEVELOPMENT TRENDS”

On the afternoon of 27/03/2025, the Corporate Finance Department organized the specialized talk “Financial Technology: Current Status and Development Trends” on the MS Teams platform. The event targeted Finance–Banking students taking the Financial Technology course in Semester 1, 2025, and also attracted participation from many other students, particularly those majoring in Financial Technology.

The talk featured Dr. Pham Nguyen Anh Huy, co‑founder of the Fintech – Crypto Center, RMIT University Vietnam.

The talk focused on three main topics: (i) the current state of financial technology globally and in Vietnam; (ii) development trends in financial technology; and (iii) opportunities and challenges in the development of financial technology. In addition to the presentation, there was active student participation through a lively Q&A and discussion revolving around core technologies and fintech products.

The talk provided a comprehensive picture of the current situation and development trends of financial technology domestically and internationally. These contents not only supplemented students with practical knowledge of fintech but also inspired them to continue researching and exploring career opportunities amid the rapid growth of fintech.
