On September 11th and 12th, 2023, the Finance—Banking Department at the University of Finance—Marketing organized a "Recruitment Day" to provide students with opportunities and connections to find reputable internships and gain practical experience during their graduation thesis semester. The event also enhanced collaboration between the Finance—Banking Department and businesses.

At the 2023 recruitment day, the Finance-Banking Department was honored to have the participation of the following units: Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HD Bank), Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB), Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank), Yuanta Securities Vietnam Company, Phu Hung Securities Company, Chailease International Financial Leasing Company, and Mirae Asset Company.

Associate Prof. Phd. Nguyen Thi My Linh, Head of the Finance - Banking Department, delivered the opening speech.

The thesis and final internship are two courses designed to give students access to real-world organizational operations. They allow students to observe, compare, learn, and apply theories to practice, which helps them hone their research skills and quickly adapt to real-world jobs after graduation.

With many beneficial and attractive internship policies and programs, recruiting units offer training pathways, guidance, and financial support regimes for students during their internships and many opportunities to become official employees after graduation. The recruitment day attracted final-year Finance—Banking Department students, with over 650 interviews conducted for seven recruiting units.

After two effective days, with numerous interviews conducted, the number of students accepted for official internships at the units is as follows:

• HD Bank recruited 39 students to become interns in its Be Banker program.
• ACB accepted 50 students into The Next Banker program and 49 students into the internship program.
• Eximbank recruited 25 students to support salary internships at the bank's branches.

The Finance—Banking Department's 2023 recruitment day was a resounding success. The department aligns to train the Finance—banking industry with a practical orientation. Each year, the department will strengthen its relationship with affiliated units and expand to other units with larger and more effective scales in the future.

The Finance-Banking Department sincerely thanks the units that participated in the 2023 Recruitment Day, helping final-year Finance-Banking Department students find desired final internships with practical content, from vocational training activities to financial support during internships.
