Graduate Internship Program of Students of the Finance and Banking Faculty at VCB Ky Dong Branch 2023
The internship program plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice for students. It provides an ideal opportunity to apply the knowledge gained and develop both technical and soft skills. Through this process, students can gain hands-on experience and become familiar with significant milestones in their careers.
With the goal of "Training finance and banking graduates with political integrity, ethics, and good health; equipped with fundamental knowledge of socio-economic aspects, capable of applying, analyzing, evaluating policies, and solving professional issues in the field of finance and banking. Meeting the demand for high-quality workforce in the context of international integration," practical activities within the internship program are designed to help students reinforce the theoretical and practical knowledge they have acquired at the university.
The tradition that learning must go hand in hand with practice is highly valued and continuously developed in the program. In the past year, Vietcombank - Ky Dong branch welcomed over 100 final-year students majoring in finance and banking for their internship placement.

One of the most important roles of the internship program is to provide students with opportunities to apply and experiment with the specialized knowledge they have learned in a real-world context. This helps students build confidence and a deep understanding of the finance and banking field. When interning at Vietcombank, students not only learned theoretical knowledge but also had the environment to develop soft skills. They learned teamwork, time management, problem-solving, and interact with colleagues as well as real bank customers. These skills are not only crucial in their future careers but also impact their personal and professional development.
