STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF FINANCE & BANKING SHINE AT THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE FOR HIGH-QUALITY ECONOMICS STUDENTS
On 14/12/2024, the School of Economics – Can Tho University hosted the 1st International Scientific Conference for High‑Quality Economics Students.
UFM’s delegation, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi My Linh – Dean of the Faculty of Finance & Banking – together with student research teams, was warmly welcomed by the Board of Rectors of the School of Economics – Can Tho University.

The conference served as an academic forum for economics students to exchange ideas and present research results on topics such as globalization and sustainable growth; enterprise internationalization and green business development; firm performance and financial development; as well as financial technology (Fintech) and sustainable finance.

Out of 83 papers submitted, four outstanding topics by UFM students were selected by the organizing committee for presentation.

These topics are not only highly practical but also demonstrate UFM students’ keen research mindset and creativity in addressing contemporary socio‑economic issues.
After the conference, the UFM delegation toured the campus and facilities of the School of Economics – Can Tho University.

The UFM delegation also joined exchanges with CTU students, creating a vibrant and cohesive academic atmosphere.

UFM students’ participation not only affirmed the University’s quality of training and research but also opened opportunities for learning, exchange, and cooperation with peers at home and abroad.
