On the morning of May 7, 2026, at Room B001, 778 Nguyen Kiem Street, Ho Chi Minh City, the School of Financial and Banking Technology under the University of Finance – Marketing successfully organized a seminar on the topic: “Corporate financial management in the context of strengthening transparency, compliance, and financial efficiency.”

The seminar was organized with the practical objective of enhancing the scientific research capacity and practical exposure of lecturers at the School of Financial and Banking Technology. The seminar created an open and practical academic forum where lecturers and guests could exchange views on prominent issues in corporate financial management today, particularly in the context of increasing emphasis on financial transparency, legal compliance, and management efficiency.

Through presentations and in-depth discussions, participants had the opportunity to update their practical knowledge of cash flow management, financial risk control, cost optimization, and improving financial decision-making capabilities within enterprises. Lecturers contributed their professional expertise, while speakers drew on their practical experience to engage in exchanges and discussions. These activities contributed to strengthening connections between the university and businesses, helping students gain closer exposure to the practical professional environment, while also providing research directions for lecturers, enhancing their professional skills, analytical thinking, and adaptability. These competencies are essential for training human resources capable of meeting the increasingly demanding requirements of the labor market in the field of Finance – Banking. In addition, the seminar contributed to strengthening internal solidarity within the School.

The event was attended by the School’s leadership, Heads of Departments, all lecturers and staff of the School, as well as invited guests. Under the overall direction of Assoc. Prof., PhD. Nguyen Thi My Linh, Director of the School and Head of the Organizing Committee, the program was conducted in a well-organized and professional manner.

At the beginning of the program, the School’s leadership delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of financial management in the current period. The highlight of the seminar was a thematic presentation by the invited expert, Mr. Nguyen Khac Doan, General Director of MHD Auditing and Valuation Company Limited. He provided valuable insights and practical perspectives on corporate financial management.

In particular, the discussion session was highly engaging, with lecturers continuously raising insightful questions closely related to the current realities of businesses. All questions and issues raised received enthusiastic, thorough, and in-depth responses from the speaker, offering participants a range of new perspectives.

The program continued in a coherent manner under the engaging facilitation of MC MA. Tran Khanh Quynh. The seminar officially concluded with closing remarks from the School’s leadership, marking a high-quality professional activity that provided significant practical value for the teaching and research activities of the School’s lecturers.
