SEMINAR: RESEARCH TOOLS FOR MASTER’S STUDENTS IN FINANCE – BANKING, 2025

To support master’s students in enhancing research skills—especially literature search, reference management, accurate citation, and consistency in coursework, thesis writing, and research reports—the Faculty of Finance & Banking (FFB), University of Finance & Marketing (UFM), organized a seminar on “Guidance on review tools and automated citation” at 19:00 on 10/05/2025.

In the opening, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi My Linh emphasized: “These are essential contents for our students. We hope today’s seminar provides useful information so learners can study effectively, implement their theses, and complete their graduation projects better.”

To begin, MSc. Pham Minh Tien shared and guided effective tools for literature review.

Next, Dr. Bui Ngoc Toan introduced and guided students to install and use Mendeley for automated citation.

With Mendeley, users can easily organize, store, and retrieve academic documents.

Through the seminar, students were introduced to modern tools that automate literature review and standardize citations according to international formats—saving time, minimizing errors, and enhancing professionalism and persuasiveness in research.
