Digital banking—also known as electronic or online banking—has become an essential part of modern banking and plays a key role in the digital economy. With digital banking, customers can access and use services anytime, anywhere, 24/7. Transaction costs are generally lower than in traditional banking, saving costs for both customers and banks. In addition, digital banking provides tools and features that allow customers to personalize their experience—from how information is displayed to the services offered. Recognizing the importance of digital banking and the need to equip final‑year K2021 students with practical, trend‑aligned knowledge so they can easily adapt to the fast‑changing environment of financial institutions upon graduation, and based on training objectives that meet societal needs while giving final‑year students access to new knowledge, the Faculty of Finance – Banking organized a specialized seminar aligned with the FinTech modules and applications in Finance and Banking for final‑year students of the Faculty, themed “Digital Banking Credit – Current Situation and Trends in Vietnam.”

Dr. Vu Minh Tu, Director of the Credit Appraisal Division at Viet Capital Commercial Joint Stock Bank, served as the Faculty’s guest speaker.

In an era of constant connectivity and continuous advances in information technology, hosting online specialized seminars has become a popular and undeniable trend.
