To promote the right to participation, collective wisdom, and consensus on the direction of activities in the new period, the School of Financial and Banking Technology successfully organized the 2026 Conference of Officials and Employees on the morning of January 7, 2026. The event was formally held in Room A303 at the 778 Nguyen Kiem Campus, Duc Nhuan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi My Linh, Dean; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thuy Hang, Vice Dean; and Master Nguyen Bang Phi, Chairperson of the School’s Trade Union.

At the beginning of the Conference, the delegates listened to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi My Linh present a summary report on the implementation of the 2025 work program and the 2026 work plan. Over the past year, the School successfully fulfilled its assigned tasks, affirming the capabilities of its leadership and staff.

The discussion session at the Conference was lively, featuring many practical contributions focused on three key areas: (1) Training, (2) Scientific research, and (3) Enterprise and alumni relations. Regarding networking activities, the delegates emphasized the importance of developing the next generation of alumni and expanding cooperation with strategic enterprises in the fields of fintech, banking, and securities. Regarding scientific research, the lecturers proposed creating new academic platforms to sustain students’ passion for research amid changes to the training program.

In his directive remarks at the Conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quoc Viet, Vice Rector of the University, highly appreciated the School’s efforts over the past year. Emphasizing the context of 2026, the Vice Rector requested that the School focus on key tasks associated with Resolution No. 57 on digital transformation and innovation.

Accordingly, the University’s major goals are to achieve ACBSP international accreditation by 2028 and to be included in the QS Asia University Rankings. To achieve these goals, the University’s leaders directed the School to:

  • Promote international cooperation in research and improve the quality of scientific articles and conference proceedings in accordance with Scopus/Web of Science standards.
  • Take advantage of the Government’s tax incentive policies to increase revenue from science and technology activities and innovative start-ups.
  • Focus on engaging master’s alumni and doctoral candidates to promote more effective enterprise cooperation.

In a spirit of democracy and responsibility, the Conference elected 21 official delegates to represent the School at the University-level Conference of Officials and Employees in 2026, with strong confidence.
