FAREWELL TO DR. BUI HUU PHUOC, FORMER VICE DEAN OF THE FACULTY OF FINANCE – BANKING, ON HIS RETIREMENT AFTER MANY YEARS OF DEDICATION AT UFM
On the morning of April 15, 2024, in a warm, respectful and cordial atmosphere, the Faculty of Finance – Banking (FFB) of the University of Finance – Marketing (UFM) held a ceremony to announce the decision on retirement under the social insurance regime for Dr. Bui Huu Phuoc, former Vice Dean of the Faculty, after many years of service at the University.
Dr. Bui Huu Phuoc has devoted over 40 years to the education sector, including 14 years at the University of Finance – Marketing. He has made significant contributions to the University’s education and training mission, teaching generations of undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students. Many of his former students have gone on to become successful entrepreneurs and public officials across the country. Together with UFM staff and lecturers, he has excelled in teaching and has made substantial contributions to the University’s development.

The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thuy Tien, Chair of the University Council; Dr. Le Trung Dao, Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hiep, Chair of the University Trade Union; Dr. Nguyen Tan Hung, Head of the Organization – Administration Office; along with leaders of university units, Faculty leadership, and the Faculty’s lecturers and staff.

In his remarks at the ceremony, on behalf of the University leadership, Vice Rector Dr. Le Trung Dao offered congratulations, presented the decision and flowers to Dr. Bui Huu Phuoc.
The Vice Rector wished Dr. Bui Huu Phuoc good health and happiness in retirement and expressed hope that he will continue to care for, stay connected with, and contribute his intellect and dedication to the University’s education and training mission, helping to further enhance UFM’s brand.

Amid the emotions of the farewell, Dr. Bui Huu Phuoc sincerely thanked the University leadership for recognizing his contributions to UFM’s development. He shared fond memories from his years of service and expressed heartfelt thanks to the Board of Rectors and all colleagues at the University as well as the Faculty for their trust, support and companionship, which enabled him to fulfill his duties throughout his tenure.
