FACULTY OF FINANCE AND BANKING WAS COMMENDED AT THE 3RD EXEMPLARY EMULATION CONFERENCE, UNIVERSITY OF FINANCE AND MARKETING, PERIOD 2025–2030
On the morning of 05/06/2025, at 27 Tan My, Tan Thuan Tay Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, the University of Finance & Marketing (UFM) solemnly held the 3rd Exemplary Emulation Conference for the 2025–2030 period. The conference reviewed emulation and commendation achievements for 2020–2025, and set orientations and tasks for 2025–2030, toward the 6th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Finance Sector in 2025.
Pursuant to Official Letter No. 8001/BTC‑TCCB dated 30/07/2024 of the Ministry of Finance, the Conference welcomed the University leadership, leaders of subordinate units and mass organizations, together with more than 200 delegates representing over 600 officials and employees.
At the Conference, UFM honored and rewarded exemplary collectives and individuals for 2020–2025, and presented awards to collectives and individuals with outstanding performance in 2023 and 2024, including titles and distinctions such as Excellent Labor Collective, Finance Sector Emulation Soldier, Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Finance, and Certificates of Merit from the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor.
Among the honored collectives, the Faculty of Finance & Banking was one of five outstanding units awarded the title Exemplary Collective for 2020–2025—recognition of the Faculty’s persistent, creative, and responsible efforts in training, scientific research, and active contributions to the University’s emulation movements.
Individually, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thuy Hang, Vice‑Dean of the Faculty of Finance & Banking, received the title Exemplary Individual for 2020–2025. With outstanding contributions in teaching, research, and management, she was elected as UFM’s official delegate to the 6th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Finance Sector in 2025.
The Conference also adopted a Pledge of Determination to implement patriotic emulation movements, reflecting solidarity, determination, and the aspiration for development across the University, in response to movements launched by the Party, the State, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Education & Training.
The Faculty’s achievements at this Conference serve as an important motivation to continue promoting solidarity, innovation, and dedication in the coming period, contributing to the sustainable development of UFM.
