The School of Financial and Banking Technology accompanies the local community – Leading by example, sharing care

On August 26, 2026, the Party cell and Trade union section of the School of Financial and Banking Technology, University of Finance – Marketing (UFM), organized the program “The School of Financial and Banking Technology accompanies the local community – leading by example, sharing care” at the Center for Social protection and Social work in Vung Tau Ward, under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health.

Promoting a sense of responsibility toward the community

With a commitment to promoting social responsibility and fostering a spirit of compassion and community solidarity, the Party cell and Trade union section of the School of Financial and Banking Technology organized a visit and exchange program at the Center for Social protection and Social work.

The program provided an opportunity for the School's officials, employees, and Trade union members to visit, offer encouragement, and share with individuals and children receiving care and support at the Center. Beyond presenting practical gifts, the activity enabled members of the delegation to meet, interact, and gain a better understanding of the Center's work in caring for and supporting people in difficult and vulnerable circumstances.

Promoting a sense of responsibility toward the community

With a commitment to promoting social responsibility and fostering a spirit of compassion and community solidarity, the Party committee and Trade union section of the School of Financial and Banking Technology organized a visit and exchange program at the Center for Social Protection and Social Work.

Connecting – Sharing – Accompanying

During the program, representatives of the Party cell and Trade union section of the School met and exchanged views with representatives of the Center for Social Protection and Social Work. In a warm and open atmosphere, both sides shared information about the Center's activities, its practical needs for support, and opportunities for organizations and individuals to contribute to future community initiatives.

This connection helps strengthen the partnership between the School and the local community while creating opportunities for future community engagement activities to be carried out in a practical manner and in response to actual needs.

One of the key activities of the program was the presentation of gifts to the Center for Social Protection and Social Work. The gifts were prepared with the collective care and support of the School, with the hope of contributing to the well-being and bringing joy to the children receiving care at the Center.

The donation not only provided practical material support but also reflected the School's concern for the community, spirit of mutual assistance, and sense of social responsibility. Each gift represented a gesture of encouragement and solidarity, helping to spread humanitarian values through meaningful and tangible actions.

Social responsibility – A value to be sustained

As a unit specializing in education and research in finance and banking, the School of Financial and Banking Technology not only focuses on its academic and professional responsibilities but also places importance on fostering a working and learning environment grounded in social responsibility. Through practical community-oriented activities, the spirit of “leading by example and sharing care” is translated into meaningful and tangible actions.

The program also provided an opportunity for each official, employee, and Trade union member to promote a spirit of mutual support and contribute to the image of UFM officials, lecturers, and employees as responsible and compassionate individuals who are always willing to accompany and support the community.

Accompanying the local community – Spreading positive values

The program “The School of Financial and Banking Technology accompanies the local community – Leading by example, sharing care” left a lasting and positive impression on the participants. From thoughtful gifts and words of encouragement to personal interactions and exchanges, the program helped strengthen the connection between the School and the Center while conveying a meaningful message about the responsibility of individuals and organizations toward the community.

In the coming period, the Party cell and Trade union section of the School of Financial and Banking Technology will continue to promote practical community-oriented activities, fostering solidarity, compassion, and social responsibility. Through these efforts, the School aims to contribute to building a more caring and supportive community while creating lasting social value.
