SPORTS EXCHANGE – STRENGTHENING COOPERATION
In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (30/04/1975 – 30/04/2025), the 139th International Workers’ Day (01/05/1886 – 01/05/2025), the 71st Dien Bien Phu Victory (07/05/1954 – 07/05/2025), the 135th Birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (19/05/1890 – 19/05/2025), the 80th Anniversary of Vietnam’s Finance Sector (28/08/1945 – 28/08/2025), and the 5th Party Congress of the University of Finance & Marketing for the 2025–2030 term, the University Trade Union successfully organized the UFM Bowling Tournament 2025 and, in coordination with Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott), successfully held the UFM Pickleball Tournament 2025.
Two sports activities were organized to create a space for exchange, promote talents, enhance creativity, dynamism and enthusiasm of trade union members.
This year’s Bowling Tournament attracted 26 teams from trade‑union sections, faculties, offices, institutes, centers, and functional units across the University of Finance & Marketing. Notably, the tournament drew broad participation from lecturers, staff, and employees, creating a lively playground imbued with the spirit of sports practice and spreading solidarity, exchange, and connection among units.
The Pickleball Tournament featured three events: men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. Matches followed a group stage and knockout format, taking place in an exciting and competitive yet sportsmanlike, honest, and united atmosphere.
The Trade‑Union section of the Faculty of Finance & Banking actively joined both tournaments with dynamism and enthusiasm.
At the close of the tournaments, many emotions and beautiful impressions of sporting spirit remained, spreading solidarity and contributing to a friendly, dynamic, and cohesive working environment at the University of Finance & Marketing.
In the results for the Faculty of Finance & Banking’s Trade‑Union section: member Nguyen Xuan Dung won Third Prize in individual bowling; member Chu Thi Thanh Trang won Second Prize in Vietlott Pickleball (women’s doubles).
