Appointment of Vice Director of the School of Financial and Banking Technology

On May 4, 2026, University of Finance – Marketing held a ceremony to announce the Decision on the reassignment and appointment of a staff member to a management position for Associate Professor, PhD. Tran Thi Kim Oanh. Accordingly, Assoc. Prof., PhD. Tran Thi Kim Oanh officially assumes the position of Vice Director of the School of Financial and Banking Technology.

Based on the need to strengthen the management team and the development orientation of the School of Financial and Banking Technology in the new period, the Rector of University of Finance – Marketing issued Decision No. 1716/QĐ-ĐHTCM on the reassignment and appointment of a staff member to a management position. Under the decision, Assoc. Prof., PhD. Tran Thi Kim Oanh, Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of the Office of Scientific Management at University of Finance – Marketing, was reassigned and appointed as Vice Director of the School of Financial and Banking Technology.

Assoc. Prof., PhD. Tran Thi Kim Oanh is a lecturer and scholar with many years of experience in teaching, scientific research, and management. Throughout her professional career, she has made significant contributions to scientific research, international publications, and academic networking. Prior to her new appointment, Assoc. Prof., PhD. Tran Thi Kim Oanh served as Deputy Head of the Office of Scientific Management at the University, where she actively contributed to the management and development of scientific research and innovation activities.

With strong expertise in finance and banking, Assoc. Prof., PhD. Tran Thi Kim Oanh is also highly regarded for her sense of responsibility, innovative thinking, and ability to connect education and research with practical applications. With her management experience and strong academic background, she is expected to contribute to promoting education, scientific research, digital transformation, and corporate cooperation at the School of Financial and Banking Technology in the coming period.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Assoc. Prof., PhD. Pham Tien Dat, Rector of University of Finance – Marketing, congratulated Assoc. Prof., PhD. Tran Thi Kim Oanh on her new position. He emphasized the importance of solidarity and unity among the leadership and staff of the School of Financial and Banking Technology in pursuing the University's overall development objectives. At the same time, the Rector expressed his expectation that the School would continue to promote a spirit of innovation, responsibility, and cooperation in order to improve the quality of education and scientific research and build an increasingly professional and modern academic environment.

In her remarks upon receiving the new assignment, Assoc. Prof., PhD. Tran Thi Kim Oanh expressed her appreciation for the trust placed in her by the University's Board of Management and the leadership of the School of Financial and Banking Technology. She affirmed that she would make every effort, together with the School's staff, to promote solidarity, innovation, and creativity, thereby enhancing the quality of education and scientific research and making positive contributions to the University's overall development.

Representatives of the leadership of the School of Financial and Banking Technology also extended their congratulations and expressed their confidence in Assoc. Prof., PhD. The reassignment and appointment of Assoc. Prof., PhD. Tran Thi Kim Oanh as Vice Director of the School of Financial and Banking Technology is considered an important step in strengthening the leadership team as part of the School's development strategy, contributing to improving the quality of governance, education, and scientific research in the new period.
