With the rapid development of science and technology in recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) and big data have been gradually applied in various fields such as healthcare, business, education, manufacturing, finance, etc., and banking is not an exception to this trend. For banks, this is considered a mission, a strategy to help these organizations promote business activities and manage risks effectively. Instead of handling tasks using traditional methods as before, banks can now use technology to solve tasks quickly and accurately. In order to equip students with practical knowledge about the operations of commercial banks in the digital transformation era, on March 15, 2023, Finance – Banking Faculty of the University of Finance - Marketing organized a seminar on the topic "Application of Big data and AI in Digital Banking".

The seminar was attended by the main speaker, Mrs. Chu Hong Hanh - Innovation Director of Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB). On the side of the University of Finance - Marketing, there was the participation of Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Thi My Linh - Deputy Head of Finance – Banking Faculty, Dr. Le Thi Thuy Hang - Head of Banking Department, along with a group of teachers, and more than 500 students from the Department.

Through the forum, Mrs. Chu Hong Hanh emphasized the importance of AI, which is a technology shaping the future of the financial industry. At the same time, she also answered questions about the new operational methods of commercial banks under the participation of artificial intelligence, the benefits, and the risks banks face. In addition, the speaker also highlighted the importance of big data analysis in the business activities of banks. Through this, students have a more realistic view of the current job market in the financial industry, thereby better preparing for their careers.
