Building proactive mindset and immediate employment after graduation is a prominent training method for future human resources at the University of Finance and Marketing. Along with the main curriculum, the university frequently organizes field trips and practical learning experiences at various businesses for students.

Each business provides a practical lesson, offering students the opportunities to directly experience the working environment and to gain specialized knowledge along with essential social and work skills. Therefore, visiting and experiencing real-life situations at businesses has become a regular activity for students in the Finance and Banking Faculty, as well as for the University of Finance and Marketing. This activity aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice, helping students stay updated with practical knowledge about the future work environment.

The experiential activities at UFM are diverse, including field trips, internships, and exchanges with representatives from businesses, aiming to accumulate specialized knowledge and work skills. For the field of finance, banking and insurance, the Finance and Banking Faculty has developed a framework program to ensure that the "Professional Practice" program can help students access practical knowledge in the industry and specific positions. Moreover, the program also helps students understand the job positions associated with specific functional units in businesses. This enables students to apply their specialized knowledge to real-life situations that they have learned in the classroom.

With the attention and guidance from our faculty’s leaders, in Semester 2nd of 2023, the Finance and Banking Faculty continued to implement the series of workshops "Professional Practice" with the participation of over 590 students from the 20th cohort at foủ leading insurance companies: Manu Life, Dai-Ichi Life, Phu Hưng Life, and Shinhan Life. The program's content was tailored to students in a specific, practical, lively, and effective manner.

In the "Professional Practice" program, businesses provided an impressive introduction, exchange of experiences, practical guidance, and skill training in a friendly and professional atmosphere. As a result, students have become more comfortable and enthusiastic, without feeling shy or anxious when stepping into the business environment. Students have raised questions from the perspective of practical experience, internships, real-life experiences, opportunities for career advancement from an employee to a managerial position, challenges in transitioning from academia to the professional world, and clearer career direction. Additionally, students have visited work and recreational areas to gain further understanding of corporate culture, observe professional workspaces and arrangements. From these experiences, students can grasp the recruitment criteria of businesses, allowing them to assess their own abilities and proactively improve their skills. The field trips in the "Professional Practice" program not only enhance students' knowledge and skills but, more importantly, help shape their serious and professional attitude towards learning and work, enabling them to meet the requirements of the domestic and regional labor market.

To achieve the success of the Internship program, we must state the enthusiastic and professional support from the businesses involved. Therefore, the Finance and Banking Faculty would like to express our sincere gratitude to the leaders of Manu Life, Dai-Ichi Life, Phu Hưng Life, and Shinhan Life for their wholehearted support, sharing, and guidance to our students, as well as for accompanying the Finance and Banking Faculty and the University of Finance and Marketing during years. The Faculty's leaders hopes that students will make the most of their strengths, listen to the insights shared by experts, grasp the knowledge, and develop the necessary skills to turn today's opportunities into realities through these valuable practical lessons. The department also hopes that the professional practice sessions and real-world visits will provide students with a more realistic understanding of the profession they are studying, helping them to find suitable positions and careers in the future.

The representatives of the Finance and Banking Faculty presented a bouquet of appreciation to the business.
