STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN PRACTICUM 1 AT INSURANCE COMPANIES IN HO CHI MINH CITY
Participation in Practicum 1 at insurance companies is a highly important professional activity that supplements practical knowledge for Finance–Banking majors, helping students better understand the industry and learn directly from real workplaces.
Students have the chance to better understand processes and services provided by insurance companies; the role of insurance in everyday life; and how the industry safeguards the finances of individuals, families, and businesses. They can connect classroom theory with real‑world work, seeing how models, processes, and strategies are applied in practice. Participating in Practicum 1 at companies in Ho Chi Minh City also helps students improve career skills such as communication, presentation, and problem‑solving, while interacting with industry professionals and accessing their future work environment.
In Semester 1/2025, the Faculty of Finance & Banking organized Practicum 1 for nearly 600 students to visit insurance companies such as Chubb Life (369 Nguyen Trai, Nguyen Cu Trinh Ward, District 1); Aviation Insurance (81 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3); and Manulife (ToTo Building, 1A Pham Ngoc Thach, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1).
