With the mission of "training human resources for the Finance and Banking industry according to national and regional standards, transferring scientific achievements in business and management, and participating in strategic planning and policies for the Finance sector, businesses, and social organizations," the training program in Finance and Banking is designed and developed by with an applied orientation. Recognizing the importance of "practice" in the training process, the aim is to equip students with the ability to work immediately after graduation. In the second semester of the school year 2023, the Finance and Banking Faculty implemented a series of professional practice programs at major commercial banks in Ho Chi Minh city, such as ACB, HD Bank, Vietcombank, and Shinhanbank, with the participation of all students of the K20 cohort. The program provided students with practical skills and in-depth knowledge of banking operations, while also supporting their comprehensive development in terms of skills and understanding of future careers. Field trips to banks have become an integral part of the banking curriculum for students. Each interaction with industry experts offered valuable opportunities for students to grasp knowledge and lay the foundation for applying lessons to real-world situations to enhance their professional development. The experiential activities at bank branches familiarized students with the working environment in the banking industry. Students were introduced and guided to participate in the day-to-day activities of the banks. As a result, they gain a deeper understanding of transaction processes, financial management, and how banks interact with customers.

Having the opportunity to meet and converse with experts and employees in the bank was a valuable experience for students. They had the chance to ask questions, share perspectives, and learn from those with practical experience. The visit also sparked creativity and problem-solving skills in students.

Stepping into the real working environment at Shinhan Bank provided students with a deeper understanding of transaction processes and banking operations. They were given detailed guidance on how to carry out transactions, manage finances, and interact with customers. This experience not only allowed students to apply the knowledge they have learned at university but also revealed the intriguing and complex nature of the banking industry.

The recent Internship program provided students with a deeper understanding of the industry and better preparation for their future careers. The experience of working as bankers not only allowed students to gain specialized knowledge but also enhanced their overall skills and understanding of their profession. Through these valuable practical lessons, students gained a clearer understanding and shaped their career paths in the banking industry. The program's activities combined networking sessions with career counseling, helping students to identify their career development goals based on real-life experiences and self-assessment. The practical training program focused on developing soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Students were encouraged to immerse themselves in real-life situations, thereby developing the ability to make sound decisions and think critically. Each practical experience at various banks served multiple important objectives, ranging from deepening students' understanding of the industry to fostering personal growth and creating career opportunities. These activities have been crucial in preparing students for their careers in the banking industry and ensuring that they had necessary knowledge and skills to succeed.

We were warmly welcomed and received enthusiastic support throughout our internship experiences. The dedicated guidance provided by the experts at the banks has allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of the work processes, banking transactions, and the real professional environment. These visits have provided us with opportunities to acquire practical skills, in-depth knowledge, and profound insights into the banking industry. This not only adds value to our specialized banking program but also boosts our confidence in facing future professional challenges.
