PARTY CELL OF THE FACULTY OF FINANCE – BANKING ORGANIZES A VISIT TO THE PHOTO EXHIBITION ON THE THEME “THE DIEN BIEN PHU VICTORY – THE STRENGTH OF VIETNAM IN THE HO CHI MINH ERA”
To celebrate the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024) and the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024). On May 7, 2024, the Party Cell of the Faculty of Finance and Banking (TCNH) organized for Party members of the TCNH Faculty Party Cell and a number of lecturers of the Faculty to visit a photo exhibition with the theme "Dien Bien Phu Victory - Vietnam's strength in the Ho Chi Minh era". The exhibition displayed 56 valuable documentary photos about the 56 days and nights of difficult and dangerous fighting of our army and people that made Dien Bien Phu "famous in five continents, shaking the earth"; about the legendary General Vo Nguyen Giap; about the Geneva Agreement to restore peace in Indochina, ...
The 56 photos are divided into three sections:
Section 1: The entire people go to battle – 18 photos
Section 2: “Determined to fight – determined to win” – 20 photos
Section 3: “Anthem of victory” – 18 photos
Through this visit, Party members of the Faculty’s Party cell could visualize the hardships our armed forces and people faced and overcame to achieve the glorious victory at Dien Bien Phu—forcing the French Government to sign the Geneva Accords, committing to respect the independence and sovereignty of the Indochinese countries and withdraw all troops. This was the first international agreement recognizing the independence and sovereignty of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The exhibition helped enhance Party members’ patriotism, revolutionary tradition, pride, and spirit of national self‑reliance and resilience.
