The Party cell of the School of Financial and Banking Technology visits the Memorial House and Temple of Heroic martyr Võ Thị Sáu
On the morning of August 25, 2026, the Party cell of the School of Financial and Banking Technology, University of Finance – Marketing (UFM), organized a journey to the Memorial house and Temple of heroic martyr Võ Thị Sáu in Đất Đỏ Commune, Ho Chi Minh City. The program was attended by party members and youth union members of the School.
The meaningful activity aimed to strengthen the education of revolutionary traditions, foster patriotism and national pride, and cultivate a strong sense of responsibility and dedication among party members and youth union members. The program was particularly significant as it took place in the lead-up to the 50th anniversary of the University of Finance – Marketing (1976–2026), providing an opportunity to reflect on the nation's historical traditions while inspiring each participant to uphold a sense of responsibility, fulfill their duties, and contribute to the University's continued development.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegation visited the Memorial house and Temple of heroic martyr Võ Thị Sáu, offered incense in commemoration, and expressed profound respect and gratitude for her sacrifice. Heroic martyr Võ Thị Sáu has become an enduring symbol of patriotism, courage, resilience, and the indomitable spirit of Vietnamese youth during the struggle for national liberation. The incense-offering ceremony provided an opportunity for each Party member and Trade union member to remember and pay tribute to the generations who made sacrifices for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

As part of the program, the delegation visited the Memorial house of heroic martyr Võ Thị Sáu, listened to a historical presentation, and viewed documents and photographs relating to her life, hometown, and revolutionary activities. The visit enabled participants to gain a deeper understanding of her patriotism, courage, and sacrifice, thereby reinforcing their appreciation of the nation's historical heritage and revolutionary traditions.

Through this journey to the source, party members and youth union members had an opportunity to revisit the nation's tradition of patriotism, steadfastness, and resilience, as well as the sacrifices made by previous generations. Experiencing these historical values within the memorial site contributed to strengthening participants' ideals, sense of responsibility, commitment to leading by example, and self-discipline in both their professional and personal lives.

The program also provided an opportunity to strengthen solidarity and cohesion among Party members and youth union members of the School while integrating traditional education with visits to important historical sites and the commemoration of exemplary figures in the nation's history. Through such activities, participants are encouraged to uphold a spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and dedication in carrying out their professional duties, thereby contributing to the development of both the School and the University.

The visit to the Memorial house and Temple of heroic martyr Võ Thị Sáu was a practical and meaningful activity that contributed to strengthening revolutionary tradition education, nurturing ideals, fostering national pride, and enhancing the sense of responsibility among Party members and youth union members. Through this journey to the source, the nation's valuable historical and traditional heritage continues to be preserved and promoted, inspiring each participant to continuously cultivate themselves, strive to fulfill their responsibilities, and contribute to the development of the School of Financial and Banking Technology and the University of Finance – Marketing in a new era.
