UFM STUDENT WINS FIRST PRIZE AT INVESTMENT CHALLENGE 2025

The Institute of Finance & Banking Technology, University of Finance & Marketing (UFM), congratulates student Vu Trong Minh Hieu – class 21DTC1, Institute of Finance & Banking Technology – for winning First Prize together with his teammates at the Vietnam Student Securities Investment Competition – Investment Challenge 2025.

On the afternoon of 28/08/2025, at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the Investment Challenge 2025 Final Gala took place vibrantly with competition among the top 10 teams selected from 110 universities and colleges nationwide.

With the theme “Vietnamese Students and Financial Literacy,” the competition was co‑organized by TDTU, TDTU’s Faculty of Finance & Banking, and TDTU’s Young Securities Investment Club (NSC), under the professional patronage of the Vietnam Association of Securities Business (VASB). A highlight of the contest was that contestants were allocated real capital and traded directly on Vietnam’s stock market, thereby training analytical capacity, risk‑management skills, and investment decision‑making.

The organizers present the First Prize to the champion team

The team YIELD HUNTERS—a coalition of three universities in Ho Chi Minh City—won the championship, comprising:

• Nguyen Manh Thang (Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking – HUB)
• Nguyen Vu Lan Anh (Ton Duc Thang University – TDTU)
• Vu Trong Minh Hieu (University of Finance & Marketing – UFM)

This achievement by student Vu Trong Minh Hieu is not only a personal pride but also reinforces UFM students’ training quality, academic competence, and aspiration for integration in national academic arenas.
