Loving Spring 2026 – The “Nurturing Dreams” Journey at Minh Tam Children’s Home
The program was a meaningful activity within the 2026 Spring Volunteer Campaign, demonstrating the pioneering spirit and commitment to the community of Youth Union members and students of the School of Financial and Banking Technology while spreading profound humanitarian values as the Lunar New Year approached.
On the morning of January 25, 2026, at Minh Tam Children’s Home – Linh Son Pagoda (Thoi An Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the School of Financial and Banking Technology, University of Finance – Marketing (UFM), together with its partner organizations, the SteamN Kids Preschool (SNKs) Bilingual Preschool System and Van Phat Food Development Company Limited, organized the “Loving Spring 2026” program under the theme “Nurturing Dreams,” creating a warm, joyful, and loving Lunar New Year atmosphere for disadvantaged children.

The program opened in a joyful atmosphere with lively children’s musical performances, bringing the spirit of spring closer to the children. In particular, the interactive play “Tâm Sắc Tấm,” performed by Drama Team 57, evoked profound emotions. Through a reimagined fairy tale, the children learned meaningful lessons about kindness, diligence, the spirit of learning, and belief in the good things in life.

In addition to the stage activities, the program also featured various interactive game booths, including statue painting, a lucky number game, and especially the “Nurturing Dreams” booth, where the children wrote down their wishes and hung them on the Dream Tree, expressing their hopes for a brighter future. New Year lucky-money envelopes and small gifts brought the children joy, laughter, and excitement in the days leading up to the Lunar New Year.

At the same time, the Organizing Committee, with the support of the SteamN Kids Preschool Bilingual Preschool System, alumni, and members of the University’s Student Association, presented various gifts, including essential supplies and school supplies such as crayons, pencils, ballpoint pens, erasers, and hundreds of notebooks. These gifts helped support the children’s well-being and encouraged them during the Lunar New Year. In addition, the program presented 40 lucky-money envelopes to the children as wishes of good luck and encouragement for the holiday. The delegation also donated 50 kilograms of rice, several boxes of instant noodles, glass noodles, and pho, along with four boxes of milk and 400 notebooks, to help the children’s home care for the coming period.
As the program concluded amid lively spring music and innocent smiles, “Loving Spring 2026 – Nurturing Dreams” left many memorable moments for the children and all participating volunteers.
The program was not merely a charitable activity but also a journey of sowing hope—where love was shared, dreams were nurtured, and students’ sense of responsibility toward the community continued to be demonstrated through practical actions.
