THE FLAME CHALLENGE II, 2024 – GRAND FINALE: BREAKING BARRIERS, CONQUERING CHALLENGES

THE FLAME CHALLENGE 2024 (Season 2) is an academic competition organized by the English Club of the Faculty of Finance & Banking, University of Finance & Marketing.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thuy Hang – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Finance & Banking – delivers the opening remarks.

The Flame Challenge owes its success to generous sponsorship from two major partners: DOL English – IELTS Dinh Luc and Smart Train Center.

Jury – Mr. Pham Cong Nhat, representative of DOL English, presents gifts to students.

THE FLAME CHALLENGE II – 2024 consists of three challenging yet engaging rounds.

Round 1 – Online English multiple‑choice test via Microsoft Forms, with participation from more than 2,000 students across all faculties of the University of Finance & Marketing.

Round 2 – Specialized‑knowledge assessment by producing videos on Finance‑related topics such as banking, economics, securities, etc.

Round 3 – the Grand Finale – featured the four best contestants from the competing teams.

The four‑contestant lineup advanced to the Grand Finale of The Flame Challenge II.

PART 1: INTRODUCE YOURSELF

In this part, contestants have up to 2 minutes to introduce themselves and impress the judges—an opportunity to showcase personality, skills, and creativity; to shine, convey their message, and prove they are rising stars.

Contestants perform confidently and enthusiastically.

PART 2: SITUATION HANDLING

In Part 2, contestants receive situational questions from the judges.

Contestants focus on presenting their opinions in the second part of the finale.

PART 3: SPELLING BEE

In the final part, contestants listen to words pronounced by Cambridge Dictionary.
