ENGLISH CLUB – FACULTY OF FINANCE & BANKING – 1st GENERAL ASSEMBLY (TERM 2024–2025): A SOLID STEP FORWARD FOR NEW ENDEAVORS
Joining the jubilant spirit of the 30 April holiday, the English Club of the Faculty of Finance & Banking – University of Finance and Marketing solemnly held its 1st General Assembly for the 2024–2025 term. The Assembly took place on 20/04/2023 in room A.106, District 7, attracting many lecturers, guests, and all Club members.
In an energetic, enthusiastic atmosphere, the Assembly marked key milestones in the Club’s development. Chaired by the 2023–2024 Executive Committee, participants reviewed the previous academic year’s activities, assessed achievements, and frankly identified limitations to be addressed. The Club expressed its appreciation to the 2023–2024 Executive Committee—MSc. Nguyen Xuan Dung (Club President), MSc. Nguyen Xuan Bao Chau (Vice President), and MSc. Tran Thi Phuong Thanh (Vice President)—for their important contributions to the Club’s progress.
The highlight of the Assembly was the election of the new Executive Committee for the 2024–2025 term. After democratic and transparent voting rounds, the newly elected team—young, dynamic, and enthusiastic—was officially introduced: MSc. Nguyen Xuan Dung (Club President), MSc. Mai Bao Ngoc (Vice President), and Ms. Tran Lam Ha Phuong (Vice President). The new Committee is expected to build on previous achievements while setting breakthrough directions to advance the English Club of the Faculty of Finance & Banking even further.
The Assembly also offered a chance for members to network, share experiences in learning English, and work toward common goals. The session’s many engaging and practical activities created a cheerful, uplifting atmosphere that rekindled each member’s passion for English.
The English Club of the Faculty of Finance & Banking extends heartfelt thanks to lecturers, guests, and all members for attending. The new Executive Committee is committed to fulfilling the Club’s mission—enhancing students’ English skills and building a beneficial learning and practice environment for all members.
The 1st General Assembly concluded successfully, signaling a promising start for the 2024–2025 term of the English Club. With the unity and efforts of the Executive Committee and all members, the Club is expected to grow stronger and affirm its position within the student community of the University of Finance & Marketing.
