On the afternoon of March 19, 2026, the talk show “Secrets to Excelling in English with UFM Students” was successfully held in Hall A.701 at the Tan Thuan Campus of the University of Finance – Marketing, attracting more than 500 students. The program was supported by WESET English Center and organized by the English Club under the School of Financial and Banking Technology. With increasing international integration, English is no longer merely a supplementary skill but an important factor in enhancing students’ competitiveness in their studies and careers. Therefore, the talk show was organized to provide practical perspectives, effective learning methods, and inspiration to help students become more proactive in their journey toward mastering English.
Practical Insights to Help Students Improve Their English Skills
At the event, the speakers shared a wide range of practical insights into learning English in a university environment. The content focused not only on vocabulary and grammar but also on mindsets, building a solid foundation, and staying motivated throughout the learning process. The speaker directly addressed each issue and provided specific advice tailored to the students’ needs. Beyond sharing knowledge, the program created a space for students to share personal stories and receive understanding and guidance from more experienced peers. The two-way interaction between the speaker and participants helped make the talk show lively, approachable, and highly practical.
