ENTERPRISE PRACTICUM FOR STUDENTS OF THE TALENT PROGRAM IN FINANCE – BANKING
High‑quality higher education plays a crucial role in socio‑economic development, especially amid global competition. Understanding that practical need, the Faculty of Finance – Banking, University of Finance – Marketing, always focuses on nurturing and maximizing the capabilities of students in the Talent Program. With the goal of enabling outstanding students to develop and meet the high‑quality human resource needs of the finance–banking sector, the Faculty continually creates opportunities for students to experience real working environments; one activity in this series is the enterprise practicum. On 19 March 2024, students of the Talent Program in Finance – Banking visited Asia Commercial Bank (ACB). There, students were introduced to the bank’s departments, gained insight into future job positions, and—most importantly—heard practical sharing about the work of a banker. Through the program, students grasped typical roles in banking, identified which positions fit their strengths and competencies, and formed concrete plans to hone the knowledge and skills required for future roles. They were excited to experience ACB’s dynamic, professional, and friendly working environment, which heightened their enthusiasm as they stand on the threshold of becoming high‑quality contributors to society.
