CONFERENCE OF ALUMNI REPRESENTATIVES OF THE FACULTY OF FINANCE AND BANKING TERM 2024 - 2028
On the morning of 19 May 2024, at the University of Finance & Marketing, Campus 778 Nguyen Kiem, Ho Chi Minh City, the Congress of Delegates of the Alumni Liaison Committee (ALC) of the Faculty of Finance & Banking (FFB) for the 2024–2028 term took place successfully, introducing an ALC with full capability, credibility and determination to undertake its mission in the new period.
The FFB Alumni Liaison Committee serves as a bridge among students and alumni, and between alumni and the Faculty and University. Its objective is to enable alumni activities with clear orientation, connecting generations of alumni; promoting alumni contributions to the Faculty’s development; and creating an environment for students across cohorts to meet, exchange and share information, and support one another in study, work, production, and life.
Guests in attendance included: more than 30 alumni of the Faculty of Finance & Banking from various cohorts.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi My Linh – Dean; Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Nga – Head of Monetary Finance & Insurance; Dr. Tran Thi Kim Oanh – Deputy Head of Monetary Finance & Insurance; and Dr. Nguyen Minh Phuc – Deputy Head of Corporate Finance; together with lecturers and many students representing the Faculty’s Youth Union and student associations.
In the opening remarks, Vice Rector Dr. Le Trung Dao emphasized the importance of the Alumni Liaison Committee in general and of the Faculty’s ALC in particular; he also expressed gratitude and encouragement to the many alumni who have accompanied the Faculty and the University in numerous activities, bringing many positive outcomes.

Following the opening, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi My Linh – Dean – delivered the report summarizing the ALC’s activities for the 2020–2024 term, evaluating achievements and shortcomings and clarifying their causes to draw lessons learned. On this basis, orientations and an action program for the 2024–2028 term were developed in line with the expectations of alumni and the Faculty.

In addition, to continue the strengths achieved in 2020–2024 and further advance, the Congress elected a new Alumni Liaison Committee for the 2024–2028 term, with a spirit of breakthrough to effectively implement the proposed initiatives.

During 2024–2028, the Faculty’s ALC will continue to actively support the Faculty in enterprise links; strengthen connections among the Faculty, the University and stakeholders; contribute and sponsor activities; and accompany the Faculty’s and University’s Youth Union/Association movements—helping the University in general and the Faculty in particular develop further.
The Faculty Youth Union Executive Committee expresses gratitude to alumni who have accompanied its programs.
